Colonials Junior Lacrosse Club
The Morristown Junior Colonials Lacrosse program provides a spring lacrosse program open to players located in Morris Township, Morristown, and Morris Plains. The season runs from March through mid-June. Online registration begins in November at the Morristown Lacrosse website. The program consists of clinic level and travel teams based on age and grade levels as described below:
- Clinic Program: The program is an introduction to lacrosse and its skills for boys in grades K-2. Participants meet on Sunday afternoons from April through mid June.
- Travel Program: Available for boys only in third to eighth grades, the program focuses on building strong basic skills and understanding game situations. This program requires the use of full equipment. Travel teams normally practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays and play games against other towns on Saturdays and Sundays.
Lady Colonials Lacrosse Club
The goal of the Lady Colonials is to promote lacrosse among girls in the Greater Morristown Area and to expand the fastest growing sport’s appeal to a broad range of players. The Club feels strongly that this is best accomplished by promoting fun, sportsmanship, confidence, equal play, and to foster love for the game! The program is designed to accommodate both girls who have extensive lacrosse experience and girls who have never picked up a stick.
There will be three teams representing grades three and four, five and six, and seven and eight. Practices or games against local towns are held twice a week with an additional practice that is optional. The season runs between mid-March till the end of May.
