Fire Alarms

Requirements

A homeowner with a fire alarm system is required by township ordinance to register the system with the Morris Township Police Department.

As part of the requirement, the homeowner has to provide a contact list for times of an emergency. Emergency contacts should be within 10 minutes of the home, have a key to the house, and be locally available during the hours you are not home.
